Joseph is a baby-boomer born at tail end
of World War II. His
first language was Spanish until the age of four, born in El Paso,
Texas of American born parents. He grew up in Denver and attended both

Joseph has extensive experience in auditing and consulting as a CPA, administrative
and financial management positions in business, investment entities,
private surgical hospital, in the early 1970’s and 1980’s,
mainly in Denver, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. He has also had
a private law practice since 1983 emphasizing small business, chapter
7 and 11 reorganization, corporate, tax, and bankruptcy in Denver,
Colorado. His largest case was the Chapter 11 Reorganization of the
Farmers Marketing Association, a $10 million refinancing. He
has also assisted hundreds of distressed individuals and families with
restructuring of financial obligations and bankruptcy relief following
business failures, foreclosures, job losses, and major medical catastrophes.
He enjoys hiking; travel; reading; computers; real estate; investment
analysis; dancing, music, talking to people; and couch potato for sporting
events. Single parent of two college-educated children; grandfather
of two children.
